v0.9.0 (Range & Eccentricity Calibration)

This release adds range and mirror-eccentricity calibration, SDL bindings for Python and C++, and point-distance measurement in the Visualizer.

Compatible with carbon-interface v1.2.4 — no API compatibility change from v1.2.2.

New Features

Range calibration Range calibration support has been added.

Mirror eccentricity calibration A 5th-order polynomial calibration for mirror eccentricity is now available, improving geometric accuracy for point cloud output.

Point distance measurement Users can now measure distances between two points directly in the Visualizer.

SDL bindings (Python & C++) Software Defined LiDAR (SDL) control is now accessible via Python and C++ bindings, enabling programmatic sensor configuration from external applications.

Voyant Visualizer icon The Visualizer now has a dedicated application icon.

Changes

--dopp renamed to --apply-calibration The Doppler correction flag has been renamed for clarity in the compiled carbon bringup script. Users who see an error about unrecognized arguments --apply-calibration or --dopp are using an incompatible version of the compiled bringup script and the voyant-api.

Bug Fixes

Orbit and moveable pop-up fixed Resolved an issue affecting the orbit control and moveable pop-up behavior in the Visualizer.
